Prayer is a wonderful blessing and connection to the Creator. This is something truly wonderful given to all of us, male or female. It’s a gift, without anything to do with the amount of money you have. He hears each one of our prayers, however long or short it is and in any language. It’s always free to pray and is truly unlimited. A prayer requires only a heart and soul seeking Him. Even before we pray, our Creator hears us. He knows our thoughts and our hearts.
Every day is a good day for prayer. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 tells us how much we should pray: “Pray without ceasing.” As the saying goes, life is fragile, handle with prayer. The US National Day of Prayer was established in 1952 and is in May of every year. More specifically detailed in 1988 to be on the first Thursday of May yearly. People aren’t required to pray, but they are allowed to, which is to be unprohibited. No government, private organizations, big corporations, or teacher’s unions, etc., are to interrupt or stop this right of each and everyone of us. No one can stop a person from praying – it can even be silent.
America is a Judeo-Christian republic. We have a Constitution that was wisely and carefully written, guided not by any earthly kings or dictators, but by the Creator and King of the Universe, the Holy One of Israel. We all can be caring about Americans and individuals all over the world, which is an important characteristic that shows compassion and wisdom by seeking God’s help and protection. He can do anything.
Any student ever halted from praying at graduation or any time, has had their Constitutional rights denied to them. That is not the way things should ever be. No one is forced to pray, and no one should be denied that right to pray to the Creator of all of us.
Always remember, the Creator is available every second of every day to hear us about anything. He’s waiting patiently. ❤
שמע Shema is the first word of the 1st paragraph of the Jewish daily prayer, which means hear/listen. “Hear, O Israel: the LORD our God, the LORD is one. And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be upon thy heart; and thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thy house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thy hand, and they shall be for frontlets between thine eyes. And thou shalt write them upon the door-posts of thy house, and upon thy gates.”
“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” Philippians 4:8
Each one of you reading this, my family and friends, and everyone are in my prayers. You can reach out to the Creator – He can help with anything. ❤
